Il tentativo di far conoscere Cesare Pavese agli incel americani per ora non ha dato grandi risultati, in primis perché quando parlo di “tentativo” intendo fondamentalmente il non tentare, in base al precetto taoista del wú wéi; ma soprattutto perché, come è noto, gli americani sono idioti.
Per ora è spuntato solo un riferimento sul famigerato incel.co, che ha cambiato denominazione numerose volte per motivi di censura. Giovedì 25 aprile 2019 è infatti apparso su quel forum un post dedicato alle citazioni in inglese di Cesare Pavese che avevo riordinato Ad usum Delphini per i pavesiani impliciti d’oltreoceano (nel frattempo ho ripubblicato il post aggiustando le coordinate).

L’appello non ha avuto successo, probabilmente perché i i tempi non sono maturi, o forse perché gli americani tutto sommato hanno già una grandissima tradizione letteraria androcentrica e come in ogni campo si fidano solo di quelli che parlano come loro. Non si può biasimarli, anche se Pavese rimane comunque un autore sui generis nella misura in cui rappresenta ancora un atto di accusa verso il genere femminile addirittura a livello internazionale (ricordiamo le note disavventure con l’attricetta americana). Comunque, vedremo. In fondo questo sito è nato solo per adempiere tale missione.
